Privacy Policy

App Deco Studio Inc. makes Not Another Workout App, and we built it to collect as little as possible. We don't show ads, we don't sell or share your data, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

Generating a workout

When you ask for a workout, the app sends our server only what it needs to plan one:

• the equipment you picked, how long you have, the difficulty and the muscles or focus you chose;
• the style (straight sets, supersets or circuits) and whether to add a warm-up and cool-down;
• which muscles you trained recently and how long ago, and your last effort rating;
• any note you add.

Our server passes this to OpenAI, which plans the workout and returns it. The request contains no name, email, health records or location. We don't store the requests or the workouts on our server; we keep only anonymous counts of usage to run the service and limit abuse. OpenAI handles the data under its API data usage policies, which don't allow it to be used to train OpenAI's models.

Sign in with Apple

The app uses Sign in with Apple only so that our server knows a request comes from a real user of the app. It doesn't ask for your name or email. Apple gives us an identifier that is unique to this app, and we use it only to issue a session and apply fair-use limits.

Apple Health

With your permission, the app saves your workouts to Apple Health as strength training, including heart rate, active calories and your effort rating, and reads what it needs to show them during a workout. Health data stays in Apple Health on your devices. It is never sent to us or to OpenAI, and it is never used for advertising.

Your workouts and settings

Your saved workouts, history and settings are stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account (CloudKit's private database). We can't see them. Deleting the app, or its data in iCloud settings, removes them.

Analytics

We use TelemetryDeck to count how features are used, such as which screens are opened. It's anonymous: identifiers are hashed on the device, and no personal data, health data or workout content is included.

Apple Music

If you choose music for your workouts, the app asks for access to Apple Music and plays from your library or Apple's playlists on your device. Nothing about your music is sent to us.

Children

The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
